Ariella received her B.S. in biomedical engineering from Rutgers University- Honors College where she worked in a lab developing gene therapies for spinal cord injuries. Additionally, she worked to create and execute COVID-19 testing protocols to streamline children’s return to school via pooled LAMP-based testing. Throughout her time at Rutgers, Ariella also worked on the Quality Assurance team within the fragrance department of Colgate-Palmolive, built autonomous military-base drones at a small telemetry company, and redesigned the standard wheelchair tray to better serve the needs of the community.
